Hameln is located in Germany, federal state Niedersachsen,
nearly 45km (28 miles) south-west of Hannover and
the crossing point of the federal streets 1, 83 and 217, which lead
direct to the highways A2 (Dortmund - Berlin) and A7 (Hamburg - Kassel).

The railway has a junction point in Hameln, 2 lines are serve, 1.
Hannover - Altenbeken - Paderborn, 2. Hildesheim - Loehne - (Bielefeld).
To Hannover there is a metro railway link, which are connecting Hameln directly with
the airport Hannover - Langenhagen and the main station, where <I>ICE</I>
(Intercity Express) trains stopping. In Hildesheim you have an optimal transfer
to the <I>ICE</I>-trains connecting Berlin and Frankfurt and its international airport.

After visiting the Cebit or Industry fair in Hannover, why don't prolong your stay in
Hameln, a silent city in the touristic aera of the Weserbergland. Beautiful old city,
and same villages with castles. Shipping on the Weser river. Castles next in villages
next to Hameln (Hämelschenburg, Hasperde), health resort in Bad Pyrmont (castle, spa gardens,
Hyllige Born). Leaded tours possible (at the weekend, for free).

Certainly the most popular person of Hameln is the pied piper and the saga about the rats
and the children disappearing in a mountain. Nowadays this saga is part of summer events.
Additionally various possibilities to use your spare time like swimming hall, swimming pool,
forests, museums, theatres, at least all the things a small town can offer in the
touristic aera of the <I>Weserbergland</I> (mountains of the river Weser).

No. If you are for example a bicycle tourist and going the idyllic Weser bicycle way
or if you like to stay for some days and spend your holidays here in a silent region with

A fix price list of the room rates we could not present here, because there are several
variations about the offered room types, beginning at a single room up to a whole
apartment. For this there is a different price calculation and we don't like to confuse
you with a badly arranged table. For long time stayers or groups considerable discounts
may given. Same with additional service like breakfast or garage.
The prices begin with DM 40,00 (19,15 US$) per person / night (2 persons, 1 week) up to
DM 130,00 (62,24 US$) (single person, 1 day in an apartment).
